Nextera Secure Testing Requirements

Nextera supports desktop or laptop devices with the supported hardware requirements listed below. If a device doesn’t meet these requirements, it is not supported or tested by us.

Additional Notes
  • Chromebooks must be supported by Google Auto-Updates.
  • Dual-mode Chromebooks with laptop/tablet modes must be run in laptop mode (tablet mode is not supported).
  • Microsoft Surface stylus is not supported, but many other compatible stylus devices will work.
  • 4th generation and lower iPads are not supported.
  • iPad Air 1st generation is not supported.
  • Most compatible stylus devices will work.

Unsupported OS versions may be capable of running TDS, but are not validated or supported by Nextera. Supported operating systems are updated as required based on vendor or testing requirements. All operating systems listed have passed Nextera’s testing process.

To minimize potential issues that could arise, our recommendation is to limit operating system updates prior to our QA completing validation and also prior to test window openings, and during testing.
