Amber McKinney

Amber McKinney designs content for the equity professional learning team at NWEA. She believes that academic success should be accessible to all students and is excited that her workshops will help teachers get closer to that goal. She has spent more than 15 years in education as an academic coach, teacher, mentor, instructional coach, and school administrator. Amber has a BS in both Africana studies and television, film, and new media production from San Diego State University and an MEd in educational leadership from Louisiana State University. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and basking in the sun.
