Kristen Tsutsui is a professional learning consultant for NWEA, where she facilitates enriching learning experiences tailored for K–12 educators focused on leveraging MAP Growth data to improve student academic outcomes. Prior to this role, she served as a content designer for NWEA’s Responsive Math Practices suite, designing professional learning offerings aimed at deepening teachers’ mathematical content and pedagogical knowledge and providing evidence-based guidance on effective math instruction. Kristen grew passionate about education during her six years serving as a middle school mathematics teacher in New York, New York, and Austin, Texas.
