Haiyan Lin serves as lead psychometrician on the Nebraska State Assessment and Nebraska Alternate Assessment. Before joining NWEA, she was the leading research scientist of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, the Florida State Assessment, and several other state assessment projects. She has operational and research experience in state contracts and in-house products in K–12 state assessments, certification and licensure exams, and workforce assessments. Her research interests include computer-adaptive testing and learning, automated scoring, and their application in large-scale assessments.

Dr. Lin received her PhD in educational testing, assessment, and measurement [JF1] from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
