Wonsuk Kim works on psychometric issues related to the Maine Through Year Assessment program. He has extensive experience with the application of item response theory, construction of fixed and adaptive test forms, standard setting, and test score linking and equating. Prior to joining NWEA in 2023, he worked as a psychometrician at Questar Assessment Inc. and Measured Progress, where he gained extensive operational and research experience in large-scale state assessments. Dr. Kim holds a PhD in educational psychology with a concentration in measurement from The Pennsylvania State University.
