Description

In the report ā€“ Evaluating the Relationships Between Poverty and School Performance ā€“ we investigate how the heavy weighting of achievement data in the evaluation of U.S. schools clouds how much learning may actually be occurring, particularly in high-poverty communities. While achievement data plays a critical role in tracking student progress, the study shows that growth measures offer a clearer, more accurate picture of learning. The gallery below presents our findings and gives you the chance to explore how your school site compares to schools from the sample.
